The 2015 BAFTA nominations are in!

The 2015 BAFTA nominations are in. They were announced this morning on Facebook, the ceremony will take place on February 8^th hosted by usual BAFTA distributor Stephen Fry.

So who has done well? The Grand Budapest Hotel (TBBR’s favourite film of 2014) leads the way with an amazing 11 nominations with Birdman and The Theory of Everything (reviews to come) each with 10, respectively. Pride has also picked up 3 nominations which it has a good chance of snatching.

First trailer arrives for Minions!

The first trailer has landed for the Despicable Me spin off featuring everyone's favourite walking, talking (sort of) tic-tacs. The trailer focuses on the origins of the Minions and their history on Earth before their expidition to New York in 1968 BG (Before Gru). It's a very promising sign that the trailer is one of the funniest we have seen in a long time which bodes very well for when the film is released in June 2016, which can't come soon enough!

The first Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer smashes online!

The first official teaser for Avengers: Age of Ultron is here!

This teaser gives us our first glimpses of twins Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (played by Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, respectively), along with James Spader's eerily excellent Ultron. There's also plenty of familiar faces on show, and if this trailer tells us anything, it's that Age of Ultron is gonna pack a bigger punch than Hulk on a stag do.
